Grant Polley grew up in New York City and received a BA from The City College (CUNY) and a MS from Pratt Institute. After working as a designer in design firms he went on to become an art director in several major cosmetic, chemical and pharmaceutical corporations. He has always worked with photography in a design capacity.
Grant is now a professional photographer. He is interested in pre -columbian archeology, anthropology and caving. He has worked in Latin America on several university sponsered projects where he was staff project photographer.
