I like to start with a photograph, taken by me, and manipulate it to create an image that is both photographic and  impressionistic . Sometimes I print images on unique substrates like metal or plaster and do additional hand work. The wonderful thing about digital photography/art is that it allows the artist to actually enter the image and recreate it.
